Aaron Beard started out as an apprentice mechanic before moving on to become a Flight Attendant then a Soldier in the NZ Army (he didn’t last long there). However none of these jobs gave him the same satisfaction as acting and entertaining. So by day he is (and was) many things, but by night, and also sometimes by day, he is Aaron Fig Beard Comedian – Presenter-Actor-MC-Writer.

Born and raised in the Far North New Zealand town of Kaitaia, he has been perfecting his performing talents since high school specialising in stand-up and improvised comedy. You may have seen him has as the face of Goodman Fielder’s fantastic ‘Kiwi Faves’ ad campaign where his self-deprecating humour was key.

While studying for a diploma in business management, he fills his spare time with as many cool hobbies as he can while trying to win a place on the NZ Olympic shooting team. With so many different careers and hobbies, Aaron has wide range of experiences and skills he can draw from for any performance.
